The heart of the Roof Ripper is a heavy steel core. Chunks of carbide steel are welded to the core, making this blade extremely aggresive and can be dangerous to use. As with all rescue blades and saws, the saw operator(s) must use extreme caution, never cutting overhead, never walking with a running saw. Also, never let anyone stand in front of the saw while it is cutting. Always use proper protective gear covering entire body, especially around eyes, face and hands as segments can fly off this blade if the blade strikes steel. Therefore, operators use these blades at their own risk!
