Jim Bast, Senior is very proud of his two sons, Jim II and Jeff, both South Florida firefighters.  Mr. Bast started his company with a mission to find a safer, more dependable, all purpose rescue blade for his sons who were using abrasive blades that break easily in the middle of emergency situations, costing valuable time.

Mr. Bast's experience with diamond blades and gas saws used in the construction and demolition industry helped a great deal in locating manufacturers on the leading edge of diamond blade design technology to develop an awesome all-purpose diamond rescue blade that can cut everything, THE EXTRACTOR™, perhaps the best all-purpose diamond rescue blade in the world.
